International Internships for Science Students
in partnership with San Diego State University
We work with you to create an affordable internship package that meets your professional, academic, and personal goals.
We are a non-profit organization that creates customized internship packages around the world for undergraduate and graduate science students. Interns work in a real-world research setting, collect data in the field for their school projects or thesis, and immerse themselves in the local culture. Students can elect to receive San Diego State University or University of San Diego credit.
What we offer:
• Scholarships and grants for minority science students
• We find the right internship for you. Your customized package is geared to fit your academic needs, professional needs, budget, and language abilities.
• We write a customized work plan the helps ensure that you reach
your academic goals in a timely manner.
• We provide pre-departure orientation, and the foreign organization
(your mentor) provides in-country orientation and continual support.
• We can help you obtain visas, travel insurance, and financial aid.
• While you are abroad, The Science Exchange is available for any questions, acting as the bilingual liaison between you, your home university academic advisor, and your mentor.
• After you return, we help you jointly publish and present your
research findings with your mentor.
